
IOSH, CPD & IIRSM
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) was founded in 1945 and became a Chartered body in 2002. It is the world’s largest professional body for occupational safety and health, providing recognised training, guidance, and resources to help organisations create safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplaces. The CPD Certification Service was established in 1996 to support lifelong professional development by recognising high-quality learning activities. It accredits courses, workshops, seminars, and training programmes that meet recognised CPD standards, helping professionals develop and maintain their knowledge, skills, and expertise throughout their careers. The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) was established in 1975 and supports risk, health, and safety professionals worldwide. Through training, guidance, resources, and professional networking, IIRSM helps individuals and organisations strengthen risk management practices and create safer working environments.
