What do you do on a health and safety course?

Now, there is no short or clear cut answer to this question. However, in general, there are different aspects that you can look at when you pick your programme. Usually the requirement that you will have will depend on factors such as;

  • The type of activities that you are / hope to carry out in your organisation

They are also in charge of ensuring that every employee in the company follows the safety policies that are to be complied with legally. There is no company size that an HSE officer can work at.

If you want to become a HSE Officer, here are some of the main pathways that you can take up.

You will be most likely to need at least a 2:2 degree or its equivalent. Also, a basic knowledge of H&S will help.

The duties and responsibilities of a hospital safety officer are:
