Caring for animals, particularly the sick can be emotionally draining unless you have the skills required to perform your job professionally. At the same time, it is only animal lovers who will enjoy a career in the veterinary industry and find it highly rewarding. If you love being around animals and would love to turn your passion into a career, then the Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Support Assistant – Level 3 course is perfect for you.

The course will give learners a firm grounding on the essential skills of first aid, understanding basic anatomy, learning pet psychology, handling and restraining animals and working in a veterinary team.

As much as you aspire to work closely with animals, the Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Support Assistant – Level 3 will distinguish the reality. Individuals will learn how to cope when making emotional decisions or when dealing with emergency situations. The course covers key topics on veterinary practices, animal psychology, and dealing with animals in stress and pain and advanced animal handling.

Access Duration

The course will be directly delivered to you, and you have 12 months access to the online learning platform from the date you joined the course.  The course is self-paced and you can complete it in stages, revisiting the lectures at any time.

Entry Requirement
  • Learners should be age 19 or over, and must have a basic understanding of Maths, English, and ICT.
  • A recognised qualification at level 2 or above in any discipline.
 Method of Assessment

This online course will be evaluated through written assignments. In order to complete this programme successfully and gain your professional qualification, all students are required to complete a series of assignments. The completed assignments must be submitted via the online portal. Your instructor will review and evaluate your work and provide your feedback based on how well you have completed your assignments.

Please Note: Additionally, £159 (Inc. VAT) is charged for assessment and certificate and you need to pay that when you are submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially when you are registering). This payment can be paid into 04 installments when you are submitting your assessments.

Certification

Those who successfully completed the course will be awarded the Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Support Assistant by ABC Awards and a learner unit summary (which contains the details of the units in your course you have completed). It will make you valuable, and your motivation at gaining new skills will be recognised.
