The NCFE CACHE Level 2 – Certificate in Understanding End of Life Care is designed for aspiring and currently employed care workers who want to gain awareness of end of life care, and provide support to patients and families on this journey. It is a comprehensive course that will give you a firm understanding of pain management and how to support people needing end of life care.
The qualification will formally equip you with the relevant skills and knowledge that you will need to demonstrate during this sensitive time. Learn what it means to care for patients, friends and family at end of life care. The Level 2 Certificate is not only for individuals working in this field, but also for anyone who is caring for a loved one in their final stages. You will gain the confidence and compassion needed to work as a care giver for anyone in their end of life care.
Once you successfully complete the formalities of this qualification, you can progress to a wider area in health and social care. You can go onto further study qualifications in Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Level 3 in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care and Level 3 in Principles of End of Life care.

To be awarded the NCFE CACHE Level 2 - Certificate in Understanding End of Life Care learners are required to successfully complete 5 mandatory units.
Internally assessed and externally moderated portfolio of evidence. Each learner is required to create a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
Additionally, £229 (Inc. VAT) is charged for your assessment and certificate. You need to pay this when you are submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially when you are registering). This payment can be paid in installments when you are submitting your assessments.
