This Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare will give you the knowledge and skills necessary to establish a home based childcare setting. In addition, the Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare is also suitable for learners who wish to be employed in home based childcare settings as childminding assistants or other home child carers (e.g. nannies, au pairs). This Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare has been developed in collaboration with the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY), which ensures that it is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.

In order to qualify for the program you will need to make the payment of £69 (Inc. VAT) and submit a completed application form which will be provided to you. This form should be provided to us within a month of enrolment along with the following;
Upon submission of the documents your application will be reviewed. If you fail to meet the entry requirements of the program your application will not be accepted.
|Method of Assessment||This qualification will be internally assessed using a range of assessment methods. This could include a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task.
Additionally, £159 (Inc. VAT) is charged for your assessment and certificate. You need to pay this when you are submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially when you are registering). This payment can be paid in installments when you are submitting your assessments.
Successful learners will be awarded a CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare certificate.
