Method of Assessment
This course is assessed through centre-devised, assignment-based assessments that evaluate learners against the required learning outcomes and assessment criteria. There are no formal internal or external examinations.
- Assignment-Based Assessment: Learners complete centre-devised assignments for the selected units. Assessments evaluate the required knowledge, understanding and application of strategic management and leadership practice.
- Assessment Requirements: Learners must provide evidence that meets the learning outcomes and assessment criteria specified for each selected unit. Assessment evidence must demonstrate clear understanding and the ability to apply relevant concepts and practices.
- Grading and Completion: CMI uses a Pass/Refer grading system. Learners must meet the required assessment criteria for the selected units to successfully complete the qualification.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the required assessments, learners will receive the CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice (RQF), awarded by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). The qualification recognises the learner’s achievement in advanced strategic management and leadership knowledge, skills and practice.
