Learners will explore waterborne pathogens, bacteriological monitoring, chlorination, disinfection, chlorination byproducts, oxidising agents and water disinfection methods. They will also learn about sodium hypochlorite, calcium hypochlorite and ozone, developing a broader understanding of water treatment processes and procedures.
