The LanguageCert Test of English (LTE) A1-B1 Listening & Reading is a language test which better suits the beginners of the English language. The applicants of all the competency levels can face this test to obtain a certification which locates them at the level which is equivalent to their skills from A1 to B1 of CEFR according to their accomplishment. The exam evaluates the contestants on their skills related to listening and reading which also requires them to have a great control in grammar and vocabulary in English.
The exam comprises of multiple choice questions and it tests if the candidates have the capability to understand and respond to language with competence. LanguageCert Test of English (LTE) A1-B1 Listening & Reading has two parts to it, which are “listening and reading”. These two parts carry 59 marks altogether and the candidates get their grading according to the marks they get. The candidates who get a mark between 10 – 19 can achieve the A1 level in the exam which indicates that they are capable of understanding cautiously and leisurely made speech with long breaks and repeating.
The candidates who get a mark between 20 – 39 will get the certification of A2, if they are capable of understanding formal and informal brief conversations linked to academic, professional and social background. For the reading part of LanguageCert Test of English (LTE) A1-B1 Listening & Reading, they should understand the various intentions of a text and the audience of the content they are reading. The candidates who get marks between 40 – 59 get the B1 level certificate.
