The NCFE CACHE Level 2 – Certificate in Understanding End of Life Care is designed for aspiring and currently employed care workers who want to gain awareness of end of life care, and provide support to patients and families on this journey. It is a comprehensive course that will give you a firm understanding of pain management and how to support people needing end of life care.

The qualification will formally equip you with the relevant skills and knowledge that you will need to demonstrate during this sensitive time. Learn what it means to care for patients, friends and family at end of life care. The Level 2 Certificate is not only for individuals working in this field, but also for anyone who is caring for a loved one in their final stages. You will gain the confidence and compassion needed to work as a care giver for anyone in their end of life care.

Once you successfully complete the formalities of this qualification, you can progress to a wider area in health and social care. You can go onto further study qualifications in Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Level 3 in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care and Level 3 in Principles of End of Life care.

  • Installment basis: The total price is £357.00, from which an initial fee of £69.00 can be paid to buy the course. The remaining amount can be paid as £59.00 and £229.00 for awarding body registration and assessment respectively.
You will have 12 months access to your online study platform from the date you purchased the course. The course is self-paced so you decide how fast or slow the training goes. You can complete the course in stages revisiting the training at any time.

Learners must be over the age of 19, and demonstrate the following;
  • Vocational or academic qualification at Level 1 or higher
  • Basic level of literacy, numeracy and ICT ability
In order to qualify for the programme you will need to submit a completed application form which will be provided to you. This form should be provided to us within a month of enrolment along with the following;
