Course Overview

The Pearson BTEC Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training is a professional Level 4 qualification awarded by Pearson, designed for individuals who want to develop the knowledge, skills and practical experience needed for teaching and training. It is worth 36 credits, with 140 Guided Learning Hours, 360 Total Qualification Hours and 30 hours of required teaching practice.

The qualification covers key areas including the roles and responsibilities of teachers and trainers, planning to meet learners’ needs, delivering education and training, assessing learners and using appropriate resources.
