The Pearson BTEC Level 4 Certificate in Management and Leadership is designed for individuals to gain skills and knowledge of managerial positions and learn how to manage people in an enterprise environment.  The programme is perfect for individuals who are currently employed in managerial positions or those who want to attain titles in management including Area Manager or Quality Manager. Learners will become competent and effective managers and have the opportunity to work in a wide range of sectors. The qualification will let individuals advance in their career and climb-up the ladder to high level positions. In addition, individuals will gain specialist skills in management and leadership.

The Pearson BTEC Level 4 Certificate in Management and Leadership is for individuals who have assumed positions of management but want to progress to positions in middle management. The programme covers topics which include leadership and management, personal and professional development and resource planning to help individuals establish positive and productive working relationships in the workplace.  The qualification will enable individuals to develop a sound understanding of the principles and learn to apply them more widely in order to become competent and effective in their managerial positions.

Entry Requirement

Learners should be over the age of 18, and must demonstrate one of the following:

  • Level 2/3 qualification (or equivalent) / Mature applicant with A level (or equivalent) and work experience.
  • A standard of literacy and numeracy supported by a general education equivalent to four GCSEs at grade A*-C
  • If English is not your first language, you need to produce a recognised proof of your English language proficiency.

The course will be directly delivered to you, and you have 12 months access to the online learning platform from the date you joined the course.  The course is self-paced and you can complete it in stages, revisiting the lectures at anytime.
