Themes to Practices
The 7th edition themes are now referred to as practices and include the business case, organisation, plans, quality, risk, issues, and progress. Meanwhile, there are multiple supporting techniques including best case, worst case, and expected case scenarios to help gauge the business case.

New Approaches
In version 6, the management approach included risks, change control, quality, benefits, and communication. In PRINCE2® 7, there are three additions such as commercial, digital and data, and sustainability management approaches.

Simplification
PRINCE2® 6th edition included 26 management products listed in Appendix A, while the 7^th version lists only 15 entries. The description of management products is simplified in the new version of PRINCE2®.
