There are many careers that require the use of Adobe Photoshop, which has become the standard software for photo editing and design. Photographer

Web Designer

Web designers are tasked with creating outstanding web pages for their clients. This involves creating logos, backgrounds, and other elements, and to do this, you’ll need to be able to use Photoshop. This is because Photoshop contains many tools that can be employed to create shadows, gradients, patterns and much more.

A Web Designer is someone who plans, creates, and codes web pages, employing both technical and non-technical skills to produce websites that fit their customer’s requirements. One of a Web Developers main duties is to design graphics, animations, and manipulate digital photographs, for which they will use Photoshop. As a Web Developer you could work freelance, or join an existing company.

Graphic Designer

In a similar vein, a Graphic Designer should be able to use Photoshop to a high level. This will help with creating flyers, logos, and brochures, all of which are daily tasks for a Graphic Designer. As a Graphic Designer you can work freelance or as part of an organisation. Either way, being qualified will be a big help.

The average salary of a Graphic Designer in the UK is: £21,792, and this will increase with experience (payscale.com). A Graphic Designer is someone who works on a variety of products and activities, such as websites, advertising, books, magazines, posters, computer games, product packaging, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity.
