Refund & Cancellation Policy
Online Courses (Distance Learning)
We understand that you may sometimes need to cancel a course or request a refund. This policy explains your cancellation options, the conditions for receiving a refund, and the steps you need to follow.
Your rights under UK consumer law remain protected.
01. 14-Day Cancellation Period
The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 normally allow you to cancel an online course purchase within 14 calendar days from the date you enter into the contract.
If you wish to cancel your enrolment, please send us a written request before the 14-day cancellation period ends.
02. Starting Your Course Within 14 Days
Access to your online course is normally arranged soon after you enrol.
You may choose to begin studying during your 14-day cancellation period. However, if you access and start using the digital course content during this time, you acknowledge that your cancellation rights may end.
As a result, you may no longer be eligible for a refund after accessing the course content. Your rights under UK consumer law will still apply.
03. When Do You Qualify for a Refund?
A refund may be available when the following conditions are met:
- Your cancellation request is made within 14 calendar days.
- You have not accessed or begun using the digital course content.
- Any physical study materials supplied to you are returned, if required.
We consider each refund request separately. All decisions are made in line with our Refund Policy and applicable UK consumer law.
04. Course Access
Online course access is generally provided shortly after enrolment.
If your enrolment requires manual processing, it may take up to 2 working days for your login or access details to be sent to you.
If you are still waiting for your access details after this period, please get in touch with our Customer Support Team.
05. Study Materials
Your course may come with physical learning materials, such as books, that are delivered by post.
If you decide to cancel your course, you may be asked to return these materials before the cancellation process can be completed.
Before returning any items, please contact us for instructions on how and where to send them.
06. Exam Vouchers and Third-Party Fees
Certain courses may include additional items or services, such as:
- Exam vouchers
- Exam bookings
- Awarding body registrations
- Membership fees
- Digital books or licences
- Third-party learning materials
These items or services may not be eligible for a refund if they have already been ordered, issued, activated, registered or redeemed for you, where permitted by law.
If any related charges apply to your request, we will explain them during the refund review.
07. How to Request a Refund
To cancel your enrolment or apply for a refund, you need to contact us in writing.
Please make sure your request includes:
- Full name
- Email address
- Course name
- Order or enrolment number, if available
- Purchase date

08. When Will You Receive the Money?
When you qualify for a refund, it will be processed in line with UK consumer law.
Where applicable, we normally process refunds within 15 working days of receiving a valid cancellation request. Any requirements concerning returned goods or physical study materials will also apply.
The refund will normally be sent to the same payment method used for your original purchase.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take some additional time for the money to appear in your account.
09. Courses Purchased Through Other Websites
Did you enrol through a different website or provider?
If your course was purchased through a marketplace, reseller, partner or another website, that provider's cancellation and refund terms may apply.
Please contact the company you made the purchase through to find out more.
10. Want a Different Course Instead?
If you would like to continue studying but switch to a different course, please speak to our team before cancelling.
A course transfer may be possible, depending on:
- Whether the new course is available
- Whether you meet the eligibility requirements
- Any difference between the course fees
- Any exam or third-party charges
- The current status of your course
11. Still Not Sure?
Not sure whether your course is eligible for cancellation or a refund?
Our Customer Support Team can review your request and help you understand the options available.
Please contact us if you need further information.
12. Important
This Refund & Cancellation Policy does not take away or restrict your rights under UK consumer protection law.
