This is a hands-on, practical course that offers insight on keeping your pet safe and what to do in an accident.

The course will explore key topics such as common health issues in domestic pets, tips for pet owners when medicating pets, basic first aid for animals, routine health care for animals and rehabilitation of domestic animals. Each module will be discussed in-depth to ensure the learner gains a complete understanding of the subject matter.

Certificate in Animal First Aid at QLS Level 3 will give you sound knowledge of first aid for pets. Gaining this qualification is also suited for any individual interested in having a career in animal care, and equipping yourself with the skills of pet first aid will be highly beneficial to a career in this industry.

The course will be directly delivered to you, and you have 12 months access to the online learning platform from the date you joined the course.  The course is self-paced and you can complete it in stages, revisiting the lectures at any time.

At the end of the Certificate in Animal First Aid at QLS Level 3, learners will be evaluated through a MCQ test at the end of the unit, or at the completion of the course.

Those who successfully complete the course will be issued the Certificate in Animal First Aid at QLS Level 3 by the Quality Licence Scheme.
