Whether you have a child with autism or you teach a class of autistic children, it is always useful to be more aware of this condition. There is no cure for autism, however, it can be managed if the caregiver is aware of how to perceive those with autism and how they see the world around them. The Diploma in Autism Awareness – Level 3 course aims to prepare caregivers, parents and teachers how to understand, cope and tackle symptoms and difficulties of autism.
The course will cover key features by first introducing learners to autism, challenging behaviour, learning styles and building positive relationships. Children with autism will not all present the same symptoms. Once the diagnosis has been made it becomes easier for the parent or caregiver to know how to meet the child’s specific requirements. With autism diagnosis on the rise, it is better to be aware of the condition than ever before.
The Diploma in Autism Awareness – Level 3 will also enable teachers, parents and caregivers to become better equipped at handling children with autism. It is a comprehensive course designed by an authority in autism and will prepare individuals on how to spot the symptoms and make the appropriate adjustments in children and adults. The course will give you the necessary skills and knowledge to help as many as possible affected by this condition.

A highly beneficial course for individuals like myself who work with autistic children. While I have practical knowledge on this subject, understanding it theoretically was so much more effective.
