Overview

In order to protect environmental health and safety, preserve the environment and prevent diseases often modern methods are relied on for water treatment. The Diploma in Water Treatment at QLS Level 4 course aims to educate individuals who work or intend to work in water treatment plants. Learners will be fully equipped to function independently in water treatment works. The course will enable individuals who are in the decision-making process related to how much chemical is used in water treatment.

The course will cover key topics such as introducing learners to chlorination, understanding disinfection and rules, water disinfection methods, maintaining equipment used in water treatment and the process for treating wastewater.

Learners who qualify in the Diploma in Water Treatment at QLS Level 4 will be able to control and operate specific processes of water treatment works on context of policies and procedures. Learners will acquire in-depth knowledge of water treatment and an overall understanding of chlorination byproducts, oxidising agents and waterborne pathogens. The course will also enlighten learners on the proper skills and knowledge of the maintenance of water treatment works.

The Quality Licence Scheme, endorses high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes. While the submission of your assignment is compulsory for you to get your Quality Licence Scheme certification, you can also receive another CPD & iAP, free e-certificate if you take a 20 multiple choice exam.
