Despite its dangers, it remained widely used until the year 2000, and exposure continues to cause serious health conditions, including fatal diseases. The Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) apply to employers, employees, self-employed individuals, and duty holders ensuring all work involving asbestos-containing materials is conducted safely. Under Regulation 10, employers must provide adequate training and information to employees who may come into contact with asbestos including maintenance workers and others at risk of disturbing it.

To successfully complete the course in "Asbestos Awareness for Architects and Designers," learners are required to undertake an online test. This test is automatically graded, providing you with immediate results and informing you right away if you have passed the course.
Pass Mark: 70%
Special Note:
You are allowed up to 3 attempts at each module. If you do not pass a module after the third attempt, it will be locked, and you will need to contact us to have it unlocked. You are only permitted 3 extra attempts per course. You may also retake the exam up to 3 times. If you are not successful after these attempts, you will need to repay the course fee and start the course again.
Upon the successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the Certificate in Asbestos Awareness for Architects and Designers.
