Safety Every Step of the Way
Working at Height consists of various tasks ranging from using platforms, ladders, scaffolds, and stages to working near deep trenches. The key aspect of working at height is not how high you go, but the potential fall distance. It’s important to recognise that falls don’t only involve people, falling materials or equipment can also pose significant risks to those below. All activities that involve working at height are regulated under health and safety legislation, with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 being the cornerstone. These regulations outline the legal responsibilities of both employers and employees to assess, manage, and minimise the risks associated with such work.
This Working at Height awareness course provides a complete understanding of topics such as the dangers of working at height, relevant regulations, the hierarchy of controls, and risk assessment strategies. Understanding these essential principles is vital as working at height can be extremely hazardous without the proper precautions in place. This course is accredited by top industry bodies including IIRSM, Gatehouse Awards, and CPD, ensuring learners receive up-to-date, industry-recognised training in working at height safety.
